(2-3 Year Old Class)

"Learning through Play"

 

So many new adventures await in our Small Dino's class! We are expanding our vocabulary, learning new ways to play and make friends, and navigating our way by making choices and following rules.

​

We are learning how to interact in a group, take turns and express ourselves. The world of “potty training” is starting and with the help of our teachers, we are all successful.

​

We are introduced to new themes each month and learning Spanish! We are learning how to cut, sing songs and move our bodies. With so many fun activities, we love being a Small Dino.

These are some of the things we will be exploring among others:

• Learning our ABC's and 123's

• Exploring our five senses through sensory play and Free Art

• Engaging our fine and gross motor skills

•  Immerse ourselves in our weekly learning themes through Circle Time, Art & more!

• Learning simple Spanish 

• Independent play with toys

• Social play with peers

• Understanding and following simple 2 step directions

• Speech development

• Identifying objects; choosing between options

• Enjoying being read to and singing along with songs

• Free movement during Music Time, Outdoor play and Centers!

• Helping clean up, put things away and understanding transition times

• Potty training
